The Fluid 10 is a high performance ski boot designed for the skier who needs the performance of a high end race boot, but would like a little more breathing room for the foot and toes. The 100mm last measurement places this boot in the performance fit category but is going to be much more comfortable than a boot based solely off a race design. A removable Power Spoiler on the upper cuff adds additional forward lean to the boots to help you get out over the tips of skis and drive through each turn. The spoiler also adds an element of adjustability to the cuff of the boot if a bit more room is necessary. The 3DL tongue eliminates the need to stitch multiple materials together which means no seams for better feel on your shins. The Lange Fluid 10 ski boot out performs the competition with its 100 flex and a 100mm last. The Fluid 10 is the perfect boot for advanced to expert skiers. Skill Range:

Haven't tried them on the slopes yet but the Fluid 10s feel great on my feet. Hoping they feel even better after a few days of breaking in on the snow. I wasn't planning on getting new boots this year but couldn't pass up the great deal.

There were a few other reviews that suggested this boot felt a half/full size too big. They are 100% CORRECT, do not make the mistake of buying your exact size. I had nearly an inch of room in the toe box after ordering my normal size.
Don't take that to be a negative, though, once you get the right size, this boot is like skiing on a cloud. The forefoot is pretty wide with lots of room in the toes but the ankle stays narrow for a good heel fit. This fits alot wider than typical Langes, but most others are rated "narrow" anyway.

As expected, boots need breaking in. Fit was perfect, but hard to get in and out unless you follow the instructions. My high instep will take tweaking of the buckles, which is entirely possible. Overall, these boots made me a much better skier right out of the box! Give up your 10-15 year old boots and upgrade for your own enjoyment sake.

I use this boot while teaching, It is the perfect flex and width for my all day buckled comfort.
For big Mtn. Freeskiing I prefer the stiffer performance of the LANGE RX 130 & 120.

This is the first pair of boots I've bought in over 20 years. I started skiing at 4 yrs old, but had been off skis for about 15 years. My kids call me old, I tell them I'm halfway to 90. Last season we went a couple of times, and I rented equipment (still have two pair of my old long skinny boards). We had a blast (especially me) and after suffering with rental boots, I told myself I need to at least get a good pair of boots, so I began looking on skis.com. After reading reviews and viewing the boot fitting videos on this site, I measured my feet with a ruler as described in the video. The Lange Fluid 10 boots were exactly what I was looking for: performance and comfort. I really feel like I have gotten great value for my money, and the service was fast and efficient. I have tried them on numerous times and they feel great, though I haven't skied in them yet. The proof will certainly be in the skiing, and I am as excited about skiing as I ever was when I was a kid (still am at heart). Let it snow!
