Earning a Gold Medal Award from Ski Magazine, the Race Pro 130 utilizes Tecnica's narrow 98mm last (a World Cup Design) in the stiffer adult flex. The stiffer flex provides a more responsive feel better for technical events like slalom. Tecnica equips the Race Pro with a variety of features to ensure that the fit is dialed for your feet. The Dual Cuff Alignment can be adjusted to correct your stance, reducing shin pressure and increasing edge pressure. The adjustable Velcro Spoiler and triple position cuff catches can be adjusted to provide just the right amount of space for the calf. I use these boots for both everyday skiing and teaching ski lessons. They fit my foot like a glove. When teaching beginners, I can undo the buckles and still have good control. When I buckle them down, they're nice and stiff but still have a lot of flex when enough force is applied. These boots don't really give you an option with forward position. It's the only choice.

Unfortunately, we don't have this boot in a size 9 or 27 any more. You can free ski in this boot, but it is narrow and very stiff for racers.Answered on 12/3/2012 by Julie the Product Specialist
