The RS D2 GS is a FIS Legal giant slalom ski. By using Atomics D2 technology the RS D2 GS is unique in that it remains forgiving, as far as race skis go, at slow speeds making it very easy to control and maintain glide on flat sections and when the speed increases so does the power and explosiveness of the ski to make driving cross fall line arcs as smooth as possible. By combining D2 technology with a more traditional laminated full wood core with two layers of titanium the RS D2 GS walks the fine line between controllable and wildness that can mean precious hundredths of a second. For USSA and FIS racers the 190cm, 186cm, and 181cm lengths are all Men's Legal shapes and the 183cm and 175cm are Women's Legal Shapes. Also, the RS D2 GS requires an Atomic X binding.
