Fischer RC4 Superrace SC Race Skis with RC4 Z12 Powerrail Bindings 2012 |
The RC4 Superrace SC offers tremendous precision and a race feel without the demands of course specific race ski. Borrowing a large amount of its technology straight from the race department the Superrace SC provide great slalom performance and huge response with a touch of forgiveness that makes it accessible to advanced skiers that are learning to race at an older age or ex-racers looking for a more manageable ski for beer league racing and freeskiing. Starting with a full wood core surrounded by a titanal shell the World Cup GS is based on a platform that creates perfect edge hold for a smooth and precise ride. Around the core sandwich sidewall construction balances the flex to be ideal for slalom racing and makes for unflinching edge hold even on the iciest and most rutted courses. Where the World Cup GS differs from most other junior race skis is with the Air Carbon material and Hole Ski technology. Working in unison to create less mass in the tip and tail of the ski, without sacrificing edge hold, they allow for precision turning and better overall control of the ski for easier handling. Finishing off the Superrace is the Powerrail binding system that adds leverage for better response and edge hold to make turning easier and require less energy. For great grip in the course and slight forgiveness the Superrace SC is a fantastic all around hard charging carver and entry level race ski.

Comments about Fischer RC4 Superrace SC Race Skis with RC4 Z12 Powerrail Bindings 2012:
Hey, it's Hunter. Here with the Fischer SuperRace SC and It's a 5 star ski. Particularly for your high school racer. It's designed to be a non FIS ski, pretty soft in the tip. It's very compliant and easy to start a turn with, it's great for your lighter weight skier, particularly your middle school or high school racer. The price point on this ski is phenomenal as well, it truly is the one ski for both event for the high school racer that's just getting into it or on a budget. I come from a racing background and pushed this ski through It's paces, pushed it really hard and I was shocked with how well it stood up. Great edge hold not a lot of power out of the turn but again, I don't think this skis designed for that. It's designed for your lighter weight advancing racer so if you fall into that category It's an excellent option.

I'm Adam and I'm skiing on the Fischer Super Race SC. Really forgiving nice race ski for your kid that's going to be first or second year racer junior varsity. Something that they are going to want 1 ski that does 2 event. Nice fast and stable edge to edge, full side wall on it and It's got plenty of snap and plenty of power. I'd give it a 4/5.
