The BackSide Carbon ski pole from K2 is designed with the backcountry skier in mind. This 100% carbon shaft is 14mm in diameter, to keep the weight down, and the durability up. The new Sewn In Ergo Strap will keep your hands and wrists comfortable. You do not need to worry about losing the basket because they are threaded on now. You can also eliminate some of the gear in your pack because there is a built in inclinometer, and snow depth ruler. As always do not go into the backcountry with out a shovel, probe, partner, transceiver, and the knowledge to use them properly.
