The Rail Yard ski pant by Obermeyer provides everything you want for your child and a look they won't complain about. A freeride fit pant, the Rail Yard features a 100% nylon fabric called Stormshield. Very durable, lightweight and comfortable, Stormshield is a favorite among parents who need long-lasting, tough fabrics that are lightweight but do not restrict their children's movements while they play. An exclusive HydroBlock III coating is applied to the underside of the fabric to make the pants waterproof but breathable and offers superior performance. Insulated with 60gm of Permaloft, the Rail Yard Pants are sure to keep your kid toasty warm on the slopes this year. Other features of the Rail Yard pant are it's water-resistant powdercuffs with a gripper elastic so they can slide over your boot to prevent snow from getting in, reinforced scuffguards to protect the integrity of the fabric and snap ankle gussets to customize the fit. All of the critical seams have been sealed and double stitched to protect against water getting in or seams from splitting apart. The waistband is adjustable, featuring a Velcro tab system to tighten or loosen the fit in the waist, belt loops and a snap button. The Rail Yard pant also features a cargo pocket for storage, Tricot-lined hand pockets for added warmth and a zip fly front.

Bought these pants for my 13 year old son who is out at the first sign of fresh powder. They keep him warm and dry in cold weather and still are not to heavy when the weather gets warmer. He likes the velcro adjustments on the waist. They clean great. Been buying Obermeyer for years. Love these pants.
