The Marvel 12 provides plenty of capacity for a large adult. This hybrid sit inside kayak feels at home on the rivers and open water, and offers more comfort and outfitting flexibility than other sit insides on the market. Its storage hatch rim and lid weigh half that of conventional systems and are amazingly easy to open and re-seal. The seat connection is secure but easy to release by lifting the seat tab and pushing the seat forward. The seat height can be set prior to installation. The seat removes quickly and easily to make the boat lighter when loading or unloading. Thigh pads allow paddlers to rest comfortably against the cockpit rim, and pad the shoulder during transportation. The stability and tracking are as good as any boat in this class and also have superior maneuverability. Marvel even updated its graphics on the boat for a sleeker look. The Marvel is truly a unique boat.
