The Wilderness Systems Pungo 120 Kayak offers remarkable performance on lakes, ponds, and slow deep rivers. Pungo kayaks gained popularity by tracking fast and true on slow and flat water making them great for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. The Pungo 120 has just the right blend of maneuverability, stability, and size; it's not too heavy for one person to haul, portage, or car-top. The 120 also has ample storage space for all the supplies you need for a day on the water. The stern bulkhead offers easy to open latches that cuts the time to get to your supplies drastically and is easy to lock tight for travelling. At your fingertips is an enclosed storage and cup holder, this is removable for hauling the kayak or for when you are not using it and would like some extra sun. The Phase 3 seating offers adjustments for the backrest forward and up while also offering the ability to pull the seat up under your thighs to lock you in the thigh braces offering more control. Comments about Wilderness Systems Pungo 120 Kayak 2012:
I have paddled the Pungo 120 and its a great recreational kayak. It is very stable if your a beginner or want to fish out of it. It also has a larger cockpit opening to get to your gear easier. The bigger dry hatch in back has a lot of room for anything else you need too. With the length it also tracks really good in lakes or wider rivers.
