Once again the ARV returns as the longest running ski in the Armada lineup. Fortunately Armada understood not to mess with a good thing and over the years the ARV has seen some tweaks but the essence that has made it a cult classic has been left to mature into a wonderful all mountain ski. Keeping things nice and traditional the ARV sticks with a full sidewall construction to keep it very responsive edge to edge and smooth with tremendous edge hold. Again staying simple with a Double Zone Wood Core the ARV stays nice an lightweight for a ski in the mid 90mm underfoot with a very balanced flex pattern that is better suited to all mountain charging but depending on where you mount it can be super playful in the park as well. This flex pattern combined with a rather long turn radius allows the ARV to be very versatile with its turn shape both having the stability to rail long type arcs but soft enough to tighten up and hit snappy fall line carves when you need it to. Over the years the ARV was given a CK stringer as well, a carbon/kevlar weave, to increase the rebound energy and pop which serves to amplify the versatility of turn shape and ski as a whole. Since the ARV is not a true park ski Armada uses their slightly faster running 50/50 base but does keep the 2.5 Impact edges for added durability in case of rock hits or random jibbing. Perfectly balanced, smooth carving, and stable the ARV has proved itself over the last eight years as the perfect tool for doing absolutely everything.

Skill Range:

Comments:
Hey there, Sean here, I just got done skiing the Armada ARV skis. I give this ski a 4 12 out of 5 stars. It's gonna be geared towards that intermediate to advanced skier. It's a go anywhere type of ski, which means you can take it out anywhere on the mountain. You can go anywhere off the mountain, go off of little bumps, take it where there is powder. It will run right through any crud on the mou

2013 Armada ARV Ski Review
Comments:
Hi, Tom here with the ARV, I'm giving this 55. Year in year out this is one of my favorite skis. It's real predictable, tons of edge hold, this year they stiffened it up a bit. It's got a little bit of extra pop at the end of the turn, solid edge hold, 92 millimeter platform. It's your ski that can rip up hard pack one day, pop into the trees for a couple powder stashes, and just go anywhere anyt

2013 Armada ARV Ski Review
Comments:
Hi Jeff here. Just got off the Armada ARV. 4 out of 5 stars it's a fun ripping ski. You can go anywhere do almost anything you want with it. The verticle sidewall gives you a lot of stability and good step underneath your foot. It'g gonna turn real easy, go side to side. I would recommend going with a little bit bigger turn. It's a lot of fun if you're going to be in some loose stuff. Maybe a litt

2013 Armada ARV Ski Review
Comments:
Hi, I'm Steve, I'm here on the 2013 Armada ARV's. I give this 55 stars, I love the ARV, I own a pair from a few years ago. This ARV is different, it's a little bit stiffer particular in the tail, much poppier coming out of the turn. My old ARV's were very smooth, and supple going in, and out. This one definitely has a little kick coming out, I like it, it definitely finishes the turn differently,

2013 Armada ARV Ski Review
Comments:
Hey, I'm Brad, I just got off the Armada ARV's. I give this ski a 45 stars. Real solid underfoot at 92, real easy transition side to side, and really do everything well. Doesn't necessarily like really high speeds, gets a little bit chattery cause it's a little bit on the softer side. If you're not Mach down the hill, then the ski does really well. It skis switch pretty well, so if your looking

2013 Armada ARV Ski Review
Comments:
I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the Armada ARV's. This has been a solid ski for Armada for a lot of year. Still is. Reasonably quick edge to edge, this is a great all mountain twin. Little bit of light powder skis pretty well on the hard packed. You can take it in the park, the pipe, if you want to. It does run a little bit softer so if you're a little bit bigger a little bit heavier I'd recomme
