With most ski makers technology starts in the race room and then trickles down everywhere else. So what do you do if you have no race department like Armada, you take the shapes from your renowned park skis and do things backwards and the end result is an all mountain crusher called the Triumph. A true departure from big mountain and freestyle skis Armada is known for, the Triumph is not a full twin and has Titanal Laminates to created enormous amounts of edge hold and a strong finish to the turn. Sticking to the technology they know best the Triumph uses the AR50 sidewall construction for a centered swing weight and very nimble feel along with the Hybrid Double Zone core for tremendous torsional stiffness for instant response. While Armada admits most Triumphs will never see a race course they made sure it would be ready with a Comp Series base to give the Triumph the best possible glide available. Wrapped around the ski is a 1.7 Impact edge to keep weight down as the Triumph is not really meant for sliding rails. With the dimensions of a pure-bred racer the Triumph will turn exactly when and where you want it to no matter how icy, so whether you are running beer league from time to time or just want stand out get on the Triumph and give 'er.

I bought these skis just to get back into skiing after a nearly 20-year break from the sport. My skills were rusty to say the least, however these skis proved to be very forgiving. I even figured out how to ski backwards! These skis are at home going fast down the most demaing runs as well as doing a few tricks or two in the ski park. I found these skis to be very light in terms of weight which was a bonus.
The only downside is that they scratch very easily. That beautiful matte finish doesn't last too long.
Defenitley would recommend this ski to anyone.

Trey here, with Armada's Triumph. I'm giving this ski 4 out of 5 stars, it's a very very quick ski edge to edge kind of non-traditional for Armada. If you throw out the name, and just hop on the ski as an aggressive intermediate through even an expert skier who wants a versatile front side of the mountain ski this is an excellent ski for them. You can make big turns on it, if you jump on it it will definitely turn quickly even though it's the twin there's a lot of energy in the tail, and a ton of versatility.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Hey, I'm Thom I hear with the Armada Triumph. Pretty unique ski for Armada, it's actually not a full twin and it's a carving ski. I give this thing four out of five stars, real stable real predictable ski good pop to the finish of the turn. It prefers a little bit more open-ended GS style turn. If you stand on it you can get something shorter and snappier, it does come across the fall line pretty quickly really is a surprising ski. A lot of people see armada anything and they think twin tip freestyle. But for anybody who is a front side carver and who just want something a little bit different this is the ski for them

Hi I'm EJ, and this is the Armada Triumph. This speedster is designed to go fast, and it does. Stable under foot, it'll be a great crud buster for ya for mostly on piste conditions. But a little bit of a wide-body at 78mm wide underfoot, so it'll float on the powder. GS turners, you'll be happy on this. But if you're looking for an aggressive slalom side cut, this isn't it. 4 out of 5 stars for me overall because its performance is very responsive and dynamic. It's a blast to ride on.
