I have a boxer dog that doesn't float or swim very well since she is very heavily muscled. Well she still doesn't like to swim, but with this lifejacket, I don't feel like she is going to drown when she is in the water. It's very buoyant and fits well, the handle is conveniant for moving her around in and out of the water.
