Black Diamond designed the Method Ski Boots for the modern adult AT skier who craves downhill performance as much as tourability and comfort. The slightly shorter cuff fit of the AT Power Fit Light liner is intended for more classic AT use. The Triax Performance frame provides a more forgiving flex, but still with progressive alpine-like feel and control. The shell and cuff are constructed of Pebax, which offers a lighter weight (20% less) with equivalent stiffness to more common, urethane-based materials. Pebax is also much more thermally stable, which provides a more consistent flex over a wider range of temperatures. A stiff freeride boot, the Method is for the aggressive all-mountain skier who charges over any and all terrain.
