The Garmont Radium Alpine Touring Boots gives you the best of worlds in touring and skiing. The Radium is light and very easy to walk in, but is still stiff and responsive like an alpine boot. The Radium features a unique overlap that lets the cuff and lower shell function independently when you are hiking, yet will buckle down securely when descending down the mountain. Features a responsive multi-injected lower shell and cuff are built with Pebax to give you a super lightweight and temperature sensitive boot. The Four wide open buckles and easy lock catches give you easier and unrestricted touring. The levers are designed with an off-center pivot that will open as wide as possible and the cuff buckle catches are moveable to custom-fit different sizes of lower legs and can be replaced in the field. The wider Velcro Power Strap will give you a secure closure and broad, powerful pressure distribution. It wraps securely around the outside of the cuff. The Garmont Radium truly is the best of both worlds.
