About Camelbak

Almost 20 years ago on the scorching-hot west Texas plains of Wichita Falls, a former paramedic and novice cyclist, Michael Eidson participated in his first Hundred bicycle race. He saw how dangerous it was to reach for a water bottle while racing and after the race went home and created the backpack with a water pouch and straw, named the Camelbak because of its shape. Today Camelbak creates hydration systems for all different sports and activities to make sure that all athletes stay hydrates throughout the game, race, or leisure activity.
