The product worked as advertised. I loved the fact that it protected my car as I got the kayaks onto the carrier. For too long, I've had to put up with scratches whenever I loaded my kayaks onto the car. The only shortcoming: I wish the product was larger so that it could protect more surface area. But it's a nice "plus" and I recommend it for all kayak enthusiasts.
