Salomon X-Wing Tornado Skis with Z12 Protrak Bindings 2010 |
An optimum and universal ski that will equally satisfy on all terrains, The X-Wing Tornado cruises over soft or cruddy snow and powers responsively on groomers. Full wood core balances ski stability at speed with dynamic rebound energy for a smooth ride with thrilling snap exiting the turns. Monocoque construction, employing a single-layer cap design, serves up excellent response and maneuverability. Pulse Pads over the edges absorb vibrations, creating a smooth ride with consistent ski-to-snow contact, even at high speeds. Full-width reinforcement adds torsional rigidity and instant edge responsiveness. P-tex 4000 graphite base ensures excellent wax absorption, perfect gliding and great abrasion resistance. A must have for the advanced to expert level skier who truly craves versatility in a ski something that will hold an edge on the icy runs of the east or nimble enough to float in the deep soft stuff of the west. A true one ski quiver.

Comments about Salomon X-Wing Tornado Skis with Z12 Protrak Bindings 2010:
I rented these skis in Northern Italy and was thrilled with them. They turned on a dime, cut through crud like butter and floated effortlessly atop thick powder. The were ridiculously fast skis and allowed me to make it from the top to the bottom in less than 4 mintues in Courmayeur. [...] was the company that rented them to me. The guy even spoke French which helped me as my Italian is lacking. Loved these skis!!!
