When zipped together, the carry-on sized bag features a hard-molded lower compartment with a soft and flexible, duffel-style upper compartment. This over/under sectional design allows for easy organization and separation of gear--allowing you to keep vulnerable items protected in the hard-bodied lower portion of the bag, and laundry, outwear, and other flexible items in the soft bodied upper section.
