As an entry level freestyle ski the Sling Shot comes fully loaded. Meant for skiers beginner through strong intermediate looking to explore freestyle riding, the Sling Shot doesn't sacrifice much. With durability always being a concern for park riders the Sling Shot get a Monoblock Cap construction with a Laminated Wood Core. These combine to provide loads of strength to hold up on rails, boxes, and cased landings. They also make the Sling Shot poppy and smooth while keeping a good amount of forgiveness. This means all the ollie power needed but a calm and predictable feel when you are skiing outside of the park. For that little bit extra the Sling Shot has a jib rocker profile, slight rocker tip and tail with no camber, making it easy to find your sweet spot for buttering and a catch free feel for setting spins. While the Sling Shot has what is takes for freestyle fun it is just as happy outside of the park, making it a wonderful ski for anyone looking to progress everywhere on the mountain.

I take this ski everywhere, it holds on ice (I have been racing for a long time)It floats in powder, and it is very durable. I wish it was stiffer and had more camber but other then that it works well.

Kyle here, with the Elan Sling Shot. I give this ski a 4/5. It's a pretty nice ski if you are a beginner skier. begin Twin Tipper pretty much at the price point of [$]. I mean if you're just getting into it that's a great ski to start out with It's got that early rise on the tip and tail. Jib Rocker so it's going to make it feel like a shorter ski so it will help out that beginner skier.

This is Evan. Here with the Elan Slingshot. I give this ski 3/5 stars it's definitely going to be a ski for more that entry-level park and pipe ski. Has a pretty forgiving construction to it with cap construction but at [$] it's pretty hard to beat for a ski in the park.
