Built for frontside and hard packed snow performance, the Speedster SL is a fantastic ski whether you are an athletic intermediate through a casual advanced skier. A full RST sidewall profile serve to bolster the edge feel and add some quickness edge to edge as well, so no matter how icy the snow manages to get the Speedster SL will grip for you. The Elan Speedster SL gets its soul from a Power Woodcore running tip to tail. The core gives the Speedster SL a light, poppy and powerful feel to help keep the turn initiation light and accurate without being demanding. With all of this the Speedster SL ends up being both smooth and powerful, quick but forgiving, it walks a straight line up the middle. The Elan Speedster SL is left with a very approachable nature that can build confidence as well as be a solid ski for almost all of the skiing constituency. Skill Range:

Comments about Elan Speedster SL Race Skis with TMD EL 10.0 Bindings:
Since owning these skis, I have taken very few spills for the 2012-2013 season. Very fast, light, and responsive skis. Excellent pric
e. Only drawback is since they are light, there is some minor damage to the fiberglass edges, but considering everying else, they are great skis.

Serge,
We don't have the 165cm to get the measurements, but the other two sizes are as follows.
The 160 is for 114/66/104 tip/waist/tail measurements and has a turn radius of 11.7 m.
The 170 is for 116/66/106 tip/waist/tail measurements and has a turn radius of 12.8 m.Answered on 11/30/2012 by Julie the Product Specialist
