The flagship powder ski from Epic Planks is the Crop Duster which will get you on top of the fluff. The Crop Duster is the ski you need for skiing that beautiful untouched powder. Not only will it slide thru the deep stuff, it is also controllable and fun for the run back to the lift line. While big, the Crop Duster is also lightweight making it easier to maneuver around the mountain. Featuring symmetrical tip and tail rocker with zero camber underfoot makes this a low profile ski. Intended for use on backcountry and sidecountry, however it is a ski you can control on groomers as well. The nylon topsheets make the Crop Duster both durable and vivid, and the graphics will have you standing out and have people taking notice of you.

Comments about Epic Planks Crop Duster Skis 2013:

I use these skis everyday. Skiing is my work and my life. These things have held up through a hundred+ days of hard shredding so far, and are giving no signs of stopping. I ski everything from deep pow, to competition crud, to the groomed bunny hill on these, and wouldn't want to be on anything else.
I ave also done a fair bit of touring, and recently mounted these up with some dynafits, which allows for a nice lightweight setup that shreds. The minimalistic rocker profile is really nice for breaking trail, and gives the ski a really lively feel in many snow conditions. Especially excels in deeper snow and soft tree skiing.
Why do I like them so much? Bottom line is that they're fun to ski. They turn really nicely, feel solid off even large (50ft) drops, and can handle themselves well in choppy conditions.
Complaints? Not as such, but to scrutinize the topsheet does get some chipping around the edge. Starts to be visually noticeable after about a full moth of shredding, but even now it looks the same as it did then. And it's not something that affects the performance or longevity of the ski in any real manner.
Bottom line is that I would recommend this ski to anyone that gets to ski powder during their season, but also wants a ski they can ski on the not-so-good days, or to someone that wants a nice playful fat ski for any condition.
*Disclaimer: I am currently sponsored by Epic Planks, but I have yet to ski a ski that would make me want to switch to another company.

    2010 Crop Duster Review

Comments about Epic Planks Crop Duster Skis 2013:

The Crop Duster is a fat zero cambered twin tip with symmetrical rocker in the tip and tail.

The ski rips in deep pow and smears through turns. Lots of side cut provides a solid edge hold if you want to lay it down and the zero camber and super light weight give the ski a really surfy feeling in the pow.

The 2010 model is a bit flexible for someone looking to charge the whole mountain all day. But on those deep storm days I wouldn't want anything else under me. Also, I believe they stiffened it up a bit for 2011/12 so I would imagine that adds much more versatility to the ski for when it gets tracked out.

Final verdict: Sick ski for deep pow. Slays fresh tracks in the trees and pillow lines.

The crop duster is an amazing rockered powder ski. I picked up a pair before a BC heli trip last winter and was not disappointed. This ski handled everything we encountered, from crud to slush to corn, but it excelled in the deep stuff.

Comments about Epic Planks Crop Duster Skis 2013:

The crop dusters are an amazing ski. They are rockered enough to float you through powder, but also can hold an edge and get you down when your not in powder. I would definitely recommmend these skis to anyone looking for a new pair of powder skis for their lineup.
