Purchased to go skating with my 9 year old son I had played lots of ice hockey as a kid but never really tried to Rollerblade. We skate once a week at a rink and will skate all the time when the weather breaks. The skates are great for me, fast, nice support, easy to get on and off, pretty comfortable and lots of fun. The price was great!

I bought these skates as a replacement for my 10 year old K2 skates. the price was great and I always like the crossfire look and design. I also wanted the higher durometer wheels. The original MSRP was high, so I thought I was getting a quality skate. This was far from the truth.The skate has serious issues and poor composition. I grew up in Minnesota ice skating and playing hockey in winter and rollerblading in summers. I'm an experienced skater. The first skate I want on with these skates was not enjoyable at all. 3 miles in, the skates were rattling apart. 6 of the wheels were loose and the frames became lose from the boot. I tightened every thing up and tried again. Things stayed tight but the design flaws became more apparent.The skate uses a boot inside a boot design. Your foot is inside a sleeve that is only held to the skate by the lacing system. This system does not hold your foot secure enough to the frame. The wheel frame moves all around below you foot. Also the 2 bolts that hold the wheel frame to the boot are not enough(K2's are riveted). The frame flexes and pulls away from the boot during every stride wasting energy and efficency. It also makes the skate hard to control and handle. On large power strides the skate frame flexes so far outward at the bottom, it feels as if you are going to scrape the frame on the pavement. The boot is also not very comfortable. You have to tighten the laces and buckle as tight as they go to try and get stability and it kills your feet after a short time. The wheel frame also has a bar that goes between the 3 and 4 wheels. This is the only skate I have seen like this and you can't see it in the picture. This frame design traps leaves, sticks, and debris between it and the wheels. You have to stop and remove them.If your a beginner skater, this skate is probably fine, you won't know the difference. The comfort is not good. The wheels and bearing are however the best thing about this skate. I would recommend K2 skate over Rollerblade, they are more comfortable, more stable, and built to last. I will never buy another pair of roller blade skates. K2's are where its at.

This purchase is the best online shopping experience I've ever had. The fit is perfect. I ordered one size up from my shoe size and fits very well. Just one negative, a couple loose bolts in the frame underneath, but i had those tightened by a local sports shop. I have been looking for reasonable priced, comfortable skates and finally found them here. I would definately shop here again.
