Our daughter is just learning to skate, but the rink skates are uncomfortable so these seemed the perfect solution without too much investment. They are perfect other than not being pink. She wears a street shoe of 12 with room at the toe and a size 12 rental boot so we bought her the 13's which are just right maybe even a tad small. She has thin feet so she prefers smaller to bigger any day. If she can wear these for summer as we have been skating up to 4X a week, They will have been worth every penny and than some. I am considering buying the next size up so we have skates for a year.
