The Race D2 SL junior ski is the perfect tool for learning the ropes and pushing the envelope for young racers. Due to the D2 Plate the Race D2 SL is a great ski for learning to race on as it ski quite easily at lower speeds but becomes very dynamic and explosive at higher speeds for strong and experienced young racers. Ideal for smaller skiers 140 pounds and under the Race D2 SL is also a great ski for young high school racers entering the race world. For skiers racing in USSA and FIS sanctioned races the Race D2 SL fits into J3 and J4 standards as well. As the Race D2 SL has the D2 plate on it an Atomic Neox binding is required to complete the system and the Neox AF 12 RS is usually recommended.
