The World Cup SL is a brand new construction for top level junior slalom racers. By taking the construction methods straight from the adult world cup skis the World Cup SL is built to perform perfectly when the gates are close together for explosive power and the fastest possible runs. For young racers the World Cup SL does fit with FIS standards for J3 and J4 racers. Due to the slightly more forgiving nature of the World Cup SL junior it also works very well for young high school and lighter weight racers that do not have to follow FIS standards. Starting with a full wood core surrounded by a titanal shell the World Cup SL is based on a platform that creates perfect edge hold for a smooth and precise ride. Around the core sandwich sidewall construction balances the flex to be ideal for slalom racing and makes for unflinching edge hold even on the iciest and most rutted courses. Where the World Cup SL differs from most other junior race skis is with the Air Carbon material and Hole Ski technology. Working in unison to create less mass in the tip and tail of the ski, without sacrificing edge hold, they allow for precision turning and better overall control of the ski for easier handling. On top of the World Cup SL is true adult race plate to amplify the skiers energy, equating to the best possible edge hold and increasing the overall quickness and response of the ski. The World Cup SL is a proper race ski for the young up and coming racer who demands the precision and power to reach their absolute potential.
