these skates are marvelous
Comments:
I bought these skates thinking that it would just be another pair of rollerblades but they turned out to be excellent. They ride smooth, wear comfortably, and look nice.

The best skates all around.
Comments:
These are great skates for a decent price. Nothing in a store will compare and they're great if you're just learning or if you've been skating all of your life like I have.

Great skates, [...]!
Comments:
These are comfortable, well-made skates, and the price was right [$]. I'm a recreational skater and already had a pair of these skates that was too small, so I passed those on to my daughter and am delighted with my new ones. I'm a woman who normally wears a size 11 women's shoe, and I bought a men's size 10 in these skates and they fit well, so if you're debating between 2 sizes, I'd lean toward the bigger one, as I think these run on the small side. I had bought my first pair at a skate shop and they advised not to go too big, because the skates will give a little, but my instinct at the time was right...the size 9 12 was too small, even after wearing them awhile.

Bargin skate
Comments:
I've only had one pair before this (Rollerblade TRS) that I used for several years. Those were aggressive skates, so my viewpoint is from that angle. The K2's soft boot design has no ankle support. This wouldn't be so bad if the wheels were aligned below the center of the foot, but they are offset towards your instep. This makes your foot want to tilt outward, so you need to use force to keep them properly upright. My biggest concern though is that my feet got sore after just five minutes of use on rough asphalt. I have flat feet which may contribute to the problem, but my old skates were just fine. Perhaps it is the aluminum frame. It just transfers all the vibration. For those who are used to aggressive skates, you probably shouldn't switch. These skates feel like plodding unresponsive attachments to your shoes, while my old TRS's felt like a part of my legs.I didn't expect much for [$] so I'm not really disappointed. If you have no expectations, as most buyers of these entry skates are beginners you probably don't, then I suppose they are usable.
