The K2 Indy with the Fastrak 4.5 binding system has a few unique features that are exclusive to K2's kid's skis. Noodle Technology keeps the flex of the ski consistent to the size of the ski. Shorter skis with binding plates lose their natural flex and make the ski stiffer. The binding plate is fused to the ski, not needing screws. A thinner core provides a deeper, smoother flex of the ski, making the ski more user friendly, and keeping him out on the slopes all day. The Indy also has K2's Catch Free Rocker that is designed for younger, newer skiers. The tip and tail have slight rocker in them, making the ski easy to initiate turns especially at slower speeds. Your grom will be carving turns sooner. The K2 Indy is a great ski to have your kids get to addicted to the sport.
