Comments about K2 Moto 84 Inline Skates 2011:
This is new technology compared to my old rollerblade Maro skates. I am get more use to the larger wheels and turning capabilities. The fit is very comfrotable but the skates do weigh more than my older skates. Support is not as good as a full molded boot but getting use to it. Overall good purchase for the price.

Comments about K2 Moto 84 Inline Skates 2011:
This is my first new pair of skates in ten years due to taking a break from the sport.
These skates are so comfortable that my wife bought the women's version.
The soft boot design is much improved over my last K2's.
I have weak ankles due to soccer sprains and they still have enough support for me.
Bottom line, I love these skates and I'm definitely going to get back into it.
All that and paid half price!

Service and delivery comments:
I wear a size 10.5 shoe and in some cases an 11. I saw that the K2's are suppose to be true to your shoe size. To error on the side of caution, I ordered 11's They were too small. I exchanged them for 12's because you don't have 11 1/2. I don't want to pay to return, so with some thick socks, I'll deal with it. I wish they really were true to my shoe size, then I wouldn't be stuck with them. When I first called, the gentleman who answered (Dru) was very polite and courteous. He offered me a free return label because I was not satisfied with the fit of the 11's, but said if the 12's did not fit, I would have to pay to return them. Fair enough. The problem is this... My kids skate every weekend and have been begging me to go. This took 3 weeks to finally get my skates and I just don't want to send them back again and wait another 2. I'm losing valuble time with my kids. I think I should have paid $20.00 more at a local retailer and had them fitted and take them home right away. These are the down falls of on-line stores. I hope I am an isolated case, because the customer service really was great, I'm just not happy with the fit, the shipping time back and forth, the cost of returning and finally having to "settle" for a less than perfect fit.

Comments about K2 Moto 84 Inline Skates 2011:
I wear a size 11 shoe/sneaker and the same size skate fits perfectly. Over the first 3 weeks of owning them, I've been skating four times per week (6 - 8 miles per ride) without any discomfort. I have mostly been riding outdoors on asphalt. These skates are fast. It doesn't take much effort to pick up speed and maintain it.
Service and delivery comments:
The skates arrived several days earlier than quoted.

I haven't skated in a while and decided to get back into it for exercise. The skates got here quickly and at about half of the cost of local retailers. I will definitely shop here in the future.

Comments about K2 Moto 84 Inline Skates 2011:
I have been roller-blading since the early 90's and recently had the frame on one of my 2001 K2 Catalyst skates break (maybe due to increasing the wheel size to maximum allowed on an old pair of skates).
I should have gone to a local shop, but the variety just isn't what it used to be and I thought shopping online would work well...now I don't know what to do, as the Moto 84 skates had nowhere near the stiffness and support I need to skate the way I like to.
Going downhill, I like to keep the speed in check with rapid side-to-side carved turns, great cross-training for skiing in today's shaped skis...
I tried these skates on and skated around the wood floors in my house and was very disappointed in the stiffness and support. I suppose I could try them out on the road, but just can't believe they will work for me and want to return them all clean and in new condition. I have skiied for decades and know a supportive boot vs a loose, soft boot and these skates are loose and soft.
Very comfortable, until I wipe-out trying to skate like I know how to skate! I guess my biggest gripe is I can't really believe that an expert skater would like these skates, except maybe to sleep in, or something. Rating is mis-leading. These are intermediate-tops.
