These are the best in-line skates I've owned. They are very comfotable, Fast and make rough roads feel smooth. I would recommend them to any level of skater. I do most of my skating on roads.

I was afraid of buying a skate without trying them on but InLineSkates[@] has a great instruction video which made my size and skate model easy to choose. They have been excellent skates for me so far. Very comfortable.

Comments about Rollerblade Crossfire 90 MX Inline Skates 2010:
Great product! The additional plastic wrap keeps the feet much more stable compared to other soft shell skates. The ride is quite smooth. Bigger wheels provide you with a bit more speed. The skates look nice and they are easy to put on.
The only weak point is the way the upper strap and the buckle are made. They do not look robust enough for heavy use. Hope to be proved wrong on this.
Service and delivery comments:
So far the product looks much better than the service.
The tracking link was broken and I could not follow the delivery. It took seven days for skates to arrive.
Promised free skate bag was not delivered together with the skates

Comments about Rollerblade Crossfire 90 MX Inline Skates 2010:
I bought my first Rollerblade skates in 1987, and upgraded to Coolblades in the early 90s. After 10 years of regular skating up to 10 mi/day and innumerable new sets of wheels and bearings, I moved, got married, had a kid, and found I didn't have time to skate anymore. Recently, my son (now 9) decided to try skating and loved it--so when I went to buy him a pair I thought I'd pick up a new set of wheels and bearings for myself. Much to my delight, my wife suggested that I simply buy new skates altogether, so I eventually decided on the Crossfire 90MX. As soon as I put them on, I marveled at the many radical improvements made since the Coolblade, just as I had marveled at the improvements the Coolblade had made over the original Rollerblade skate. For the first time in a decade I find myself itching to go out and glide around the neighborhood, parks, and even highways! From the memory foam liner and shock-absorbing heel to the lightweight magnesium frame and huge, super-fast wheels, these skates make me feel that I'm "gliding" more than ever before, even over rough asphalt, cracked sidewalks, and gravelly shoulders. Frankly, I would have been satisified with these skates at twice the price--I paid more for the Coolblades!

I've been using these Rollerblades for about three months now, going out about once a week to do 10 - 15 mile roundtrips on the bike paths along the Los Angeles coastline. I graduated from a pair of antique Rollerblade Lightnings that I had discovered in my closet after a decade of non-use... and while these are not quite as maneuverable (due I suspect to the larger wheels), they are just as fast and more comfortable.
However, there were at first some serious hot spots above my ankle along the sides of my shin where the ratchet buckle strap would compress the padded tongue into my leg causing quite a bit of friction and discomfort after 30 minutes of use. After several uses (and learning not to tighten the buckle so much), this problem is a non-issue.
For my recreational skating purposes, I am quite satisfied with these sleek wheels. Easy to boot up and take off, fairly quick and comfortable, decent maneuverability and they were true to my shoe size.

I am 66 and skate on trails every weekend. The skates are great but I thought they would be faster. Perhaps they just have to break in. I haven't checked. Do they have steel or plastic axles?
