Difficult to keep skates tight. Seems that the designers changed the fastening system merely for change for the sake of change. Skates are hard to put on, and, once on, the lace/velcro/latch combination is cumbersome and inconvenient, especially the latch, which limits tightening. I have owned about eight different styles of Rollerblades, and this is the least desirable pair I have owned. I would not have purchased the skates had I known about the cumbersome fastening process. I skate eight miles every day; I want to skate, not waste time in the pre-skate/post-skate on/off process.

first time in about 15 years I have owned a pair of rollerblades (last pair had the plastic outer shell). these are extremely comfortable & my feet don't "shift" around in the boots. I will move up to the crossfire 90's 0r 100's maybe next year.

This is a COMPLETE skate, the asymmetrical lacing and the double wrap gives you that "HUG" that you need on your feet and the magnesium frame really absorbs a lot of vibration so you can have a very very smooth ride on your skates...

I noticed that the bearings are wearing out quikly. Some of the wheels are spinning slower only after 10 days of use.
I am a beginner, I use the rollerskates on the street, that's may be the reason.
Anyway,I love my new rollerblades Spark 84. Looking forward to become a pro !!!

Excellent Quality. Not the easiest skate to use, without the solid boot design, the skate feels like the old time hockey skates not a lot of support on the foot. The ankle support is great but the foot support needs more, feels like the foot wants to turn over.
