The Access design is far from simple! Atomic has incorporated an enormous amount of technology in a package that can handle the entire mountain. Starting with a 100mm waist and an open turn radius, the Access starts with a platform that screams all mountain versatility, but Atomic doesn't stop there. Atomic takes Power Rocker 20 and slaps it on top. A combination of rocker and early rise in the tip and tail, with camber underfoot, gives the Access a short effective edge in longer lengths. Translation, you can ride a ski that will hold on hard pack due to the camber, but ski a longer length than normal for increased flotation in powder. The use of a Step Down Sidewall L2 leaves the skier with a cap and sidewall hybrid ski. Two layers of vertical sidewall underfoot extend towards the tip and tail but become a more forgiving cap as the ski reaches the ends of it length. So whether you're looking to push the limits on a backcountry kicker or tear up any inbounds and side country terrain, the Access will open doors for it all.
