The Bent Chetler like three things, sweet freestyle moves, skiing powder, and skiing powder switch. At 123mm underfoot it would take years to find snow too deep for the Bent Chetler to surf in and surf it will. With the Pop Rocker 20 profile the Bent Chetler has generous amounts of tip and tail rise with a early tapering shape. While the rocker adds bottomless float the taper allows the Bent Chetler to resurface easily or knife through the snow when buried without feeling hooky or catching you off guard. Given the huge powder profile it is easy to forget that the Bent Chetler is also a freestyle ski, and the full wood core adds all the pop you need to air out backcountry booters and send cliffs deep. To keep the Bent Chetler nice and light weight the Step Down Sidewall L3 construction takes weight out of the tip and tail while beefing up the underfoot resulting in good great hold, a quick feel for a wide ski and low swing weight. So when it's time to throw down the Bent Chetler not only feels stable on the in run but spins like a top, ask Tim Durtschi.
