K2 Kung Fujas Skis 2012 |
Pep Fujas' self designed pro model The Kung Fujas is true all mountain ski. Twin Tech Sidewalls, a 19m (@179cm) turn radius, and a Triaxial-Braided Aspen/Paulownia wood give this ski a surprisingly snappy and responsive feel on firm, and soft snow, groomers, and launching yourself in to the stratosphere off of giant table tops. A powder tip, all terrain rocker (rocker in the tip, slight rocker in the tail, with camber underfoot), and 102mm underfoot give this ski plenty of float and smear ability in the powder without sacrificing performance any where else on the mountain. Tip rocker help the ski absorb the vibrations that bumps and crud cause, while it initiates turns easier and more efficient on the hard pack. Removable hardware in the tip and tail is designed for quick and easy installation for K2's precut climbing skins, make the Kung Fujas a viable option for light touring. A Bi-Directional taper give the Fujas a low swingweight for the park and pipe, and plenty of snap in the tail give the ski plenty of boosting power. The term all mountain is way to over used when describing skis today, not with the K2 Kung Fujas, rock it out everywhere.

Hi am Charlie. I'm here with K2's new Kung Fujas. I give this ski five out of five stars. If you're looking for one ski that's the quiver of all skis or the single quiver ski this is it. With all- terrain Rocker you can really go anywhere and do anything. Soft enough to play around in the park with but it's got enough edge hold to it that you can do bigger mountains and do bigger speed turns.

Hey I'm Kevin. I just got off the K2 Fujas. I love this ski, it's a really good all mountain/powder /park ski. Very easy to ski, very smooth, good edge to edge. Very stable, It's got nice pop, It's lightweight and easy to spin. I mean It's good in the powder with a little bit of rocker, It's got the all-terrain rocker. This has been a real winner for K2 and every year it keeps showing why because it's one of the best skis out there. If you've got an old pair of Seth Pistols where you think the centers a little too wide this would definitely be a great ski to check out. I've got an old pair of original Seth Pistols and this ski really reminds me of it. It's got Rocker in the tip, it's just more versatile. The ski gets five out of five stars for me.

Hi I'm Steve. I just got off the K2 Kung Fujas. I kind of like to say that this ski is about 102mm at the waist and it's a very stable ski. I give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars. I really liked it a lot. It was sluggish between the turns, that's the only thing and why I didn't give it a 5/5. It was slow to transition from edge to edge but it's a 100mm plus wide so you expect that. It was amazingly stable, it really held It's edge well for a twin tip. You can ski any condition on it, hardpacked, soft crud. It will ski it all great. An out west ski, could also be used in the east coast as a ski for a guy who likes to go out west as well but It's just a good all around ski. Definitely not what you would typically think of twin. I would recommend this ski for any all mountain skier who wants something stable with some width and can handle any out west conditions.

Hey this is Thom. I'm here with the K2 Kung Fujas. I give this 4/5 stars. Real stable ski, 102 under foot, really playful ski. For a wider ski it's got a lot of pop to it, a good easy initiator, it's got a fun freestyle kind of vibe about it. It's definitely a ski you can ski a little on hard pack but take all mountain and really have a lot of fun with.

Trey here with K2's Kung Fujas. I'm going to give it 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. The more I ski it, the more I enjoy it. If you just have a nice relaxed stance on it you can do anything you want to do. Very nimble, very stable, a lot of fun. I think you can ski it anywhere on the mountain. Definitely likes to be in the trees and bowls that kind of situation. I think anybody from an intermediate to advanced skier will really enjoy it.
