The Rossignol Sickle is a great ski for resorts that get lots of soft, fluffy powder, but still have a big park scene. The Spin Turn Rocker is 100% banana shape with no traditional camber. The Sickle floats in the deep stuff effortlessly, is easy to spin, and has plenty of pop in the tail for step ups and booters. An extended sidecut helps the Sickle not just be a soft snow or a park ski, it can hold a solid edge on the hard pack as well. Minicap and 30 degree slanted sidewalls increase durability, and lower swing weight making your switch 720s easier. Rossignol has a JAS (Jib Absorbing System) that is a thick rubber layer between the sidewall, edge, and in the tip and tail that smooth out the big landings that you can stomp. Great for smearing turns in deep snow, and really easy to maneuver in tight pillowy trees. As with all full rockered skis do not be afraid to get the size longer than you would in a traditionally cambered ski.

Comments about Rossignol Sickle Skis 2012:
I have no idea why this ski is marketed as only a park ski. It is the best all mountain ski I have tried this season. It turns just about as good as the Scimitar but is significantly wider for better powder performance. In the bumps the gradual full rocker makes it feel like you are skiing an extremely short ski. That coupled with its wood core and light weight make it an extremely fun quick bump ski. On the goomers I had no problem making short snappy turns or long carved turns. In the powder is floats through crud like it is butter. About the only day I would want any other ski is a nasty hard icy groomer day.

Trey here with Rossignols Sickle. A new ski from them, it has their U rocker. I just got off their little brother and I couldn't believe that I could turn this almost as easy as that smaller waisted one. So I give this ski a 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. It's definitely for the advanced to expert skier skiing in the mountains, big mountains a lot. Very predictable and stable for as much rocker that it has. Very predictable if you're hitting bigger stuff, you don't have to worry about it whatsoever. Good float on it and just a good all-around big Mountain ski.

Hey I'm Kyle here with Rossignol Sickle. It's a pretty fun ski here; it's got U-rocker so you can pretty much get it on edge and hold it there. But when you want to let it go and smear the turns it totally can. This ski would be a perfect ski for somebody out West skiing pretty much all Mountain and everything like that and still have some powder days. A little too wide for somebody around the Midwest.

This is Evan with the Rossignol Sickle. I give this ski 4/5 stars. I really enjoyed it. It has a nice sidewall construction to it, also has a nice U rocker so It's pretty forgiving. Still holds an edge really well, definitely gonna be for a skier who likes deeper snow but definitely still is a good all Mountain ski but not so much for the groomers.

Comments about Rossignol Sickle Skis 2012:
Rossi Sickle is a lot of fun to ride. The full rocker makes it a little sketchy riding groomers at full speed, but if you like rockered park skis then you probably will like these for ripping the whole mountain on these sticks. In powder the rocker is unbeleivable. You can smear the turns at high speeds or ski in tighter trees then your thought were possible. They are built with a slanted sidewalls so they won't chip all up after you ride them for a couple days. Great skis for seasons to come.
