Great way for a beginner skater to get in the game. A good skate if you aren't aggressive. Unfortunately, I'm a hockey girl goon learning to skate for roller derby. My toe stops can be very fussy to get back on. One pops off a lot. Gets beat up pretty quick, but that might just be our floor - the local hockey rink without the ice.
Also, the other reviews I read are true. These run really big! I ordered the skates one size down as recommended, but I feel like I could have used at least a half size smaller to make them fit the way I like.
Bottom line, they feel like they'd be great for the freshest of fresh meat on a tight budget or for conditioning on your local pathways with some outdoor wheels.

I am a experienced skater but new to quads. Currently a ref for roller derby. The trucks came really loose. And the wheels and bearings are really sluggish. Trying to go fast is like running in gravel. The boots are nice and work great with a thick pair of socks. Awesome for beginners and if you are trying to do more than a slow circle you will want to upgrade your wheels and bearing. And I was offered a $10 gift card for reviewing this product.

The stops sucked so I put sure grip stops on them, bearings are slow in a good way , getting back into skating you have to gradually move up. These skates are great and don't make my feet hurt. Now I am ready to move on to a more advanced skate. So overall they are great for the beginners and for the ones that want to get back out Thier like you did when you was a kid.so yes I would buy these again.
