The Viper 10 is All-Mountain versatility. Taking from the Scorpion race boots, the Viper 10 brings True Balance Stance to an all-mountain boot for skiers from athletic or larger intermediate skiers through strong advanced skiers. The True Balance System is a combination of shaft, foot, and lean angles that places the foot in a centered stance that is optimal for response and quickness with modern ski shapes be it camber, rocker, or a combination. What this means to the aggressive all-mountain skier is a better feel with less leg fatigue all day. The Viper 10 is given a 100 flex shell and cuff on top of this to provide versatile stiffness and a precision feel. Keeping with the performance ideals of the Viper series, Dalbello used the Contour 4 fit Concept, keying in on the crucial fit areas of the nevicular, the heel, the 5th metatarsal, and the midfoot through foot mapping and shaping the inner shell fro the best possible fit. Combined into a 100mm last, the Viper 10 offers a supportive fit that is very capable of fitting a large variety of feet. Helping with the versatility of the fit are four microadjustable buckles to dial in proper foot pressure, true shaft alignment for the best possible stance, and an adjustable cuff spoiler for perfect calf fit. Inside the shell a Trufit Performer Liner is used for it's medium density foams and heat moldability. The Performer liner is able to transfer energy with great efficiency while still offering adequate cushioning and warmth. The Viper 10 really is one boot that can do it all.
