The SOMA Viron 95 is a fully loaded boot for athletic intermediate to advanced skiers. Starting with a 95 flex shell and a generous 103mm forefoot the Viron 95 balances a performance flex with a roomy fit for wider feet of skiers looking for more overall comfort. Using Fischer's Soma-tec, the Viron 95 puts you in a natural V position giving you better control and a more natural motion when driving your skis onto edge that also places less strain on your joints. By keeping this V position on center of the ski the Viron 80 can give better edge grip and faster edge to edge transfers than without. To make the Viron 95 nice and easy to get into the Rapid Slide System utilizes a soft material over the instep and a seamless slider panel making for very easy entry and exit with no boot bite. Inside the Viron 95 has the FFS Performance liner, a dense full thermoformable liner making the most of the H.I.P.E. construction. High Insulation PolyEthylene provides maximum warmth through a three layer mesh, aluminum coating, polyethylene build that also offers an amazing precise fit, so the Viron 95 not only responds well but is warm and comfortable. If the H.I.P.E. liner isn't quite warm enough the Viron 95 comes prepared to accept boot heaters, while it is not pre-wired the cuff has a built in clip and the liner is pre marked for the wiring. Finishing the Viron 95 off are four microadjustable buckles, a 35mm powerstrap, and dual cuff alignment to dial in your perfect fit. Relaxed performance all over the mountain, the Viron 95 is ready for anything.
