I was worried about buying ski boots online without a chance to try them on. However, I ordered the same size as my 20+ year old Salomon pair and got a perfect fit of the new pair I ordered from skis.com. I tried them and found them perfect during my trip to Mammoth a couple of days ago.

the first two days the fit was painful. no, PAINFUL (despite the heat molded inner boot and the works). but toawrds day 5 it became more comfortable, and i think (or hope at least) that in the future it will get even better. but - it holds the foot very well, and control of the ski is good. it ain't a slipper, anyway - and what's a little suffering when it comes to control!

Intermediate to black diamond skier. The boots are for my level and a bit more. They are comfortable and should help me develop to the next skiing level.

Had to return it[...] Too tight around the shin even with the loosest setting. And this was on a 16 year old's leg, who is in shape and not overweight.

Great boots for all around use. Took about 2-3 days of skiing to break in but after that they were a perfect fit.
