The D2 VF 82 is all about carving everything. Starting with Double Deck, or D2, construction the VF 82 has the ability to adapt to any turn style you choose or snow pack you encounter. With a D2 profile that is extended further into the tip and tail than its little siblings the VF 82 is absolutely a ski geared towards more aggressive and more advanced skiers. The 82mm waist of the VF 82 also makes it the most versatile of Vario Flex skis as the width makes it more stable as snow pack changes but still lends to being primarily a hardpacked ski. Using Densolite in the core keeps the VF 82 light and nimble as well for less fatigue through out the day while the Neox TL binding system gives you more leverage to get the most out of the energy you do put into the ski. Even though the VF 82 does like to be skied fast and hard it also responds well to a light touch thanks in large part to the versatility of the D2 construction. If you prefer to carve hard but either don't want to deal with the demand of a race ski all day or want more than race course versatility look the D2 VF 82.

Comments about Atomic D2 VF 82 Skis with Neox TL 12 Bindings 2012:
This is best groomed ski I ever had.
Very stable at any speed and easy to make any turn without power.
Highly recommend.
Con is ski weight. they are bit heavier than other skis when you carrying but when you skiing you don't feel.
Simply good ski.
