The Outland 72 is a solid ski for beginners of the never ever variety to those that have rented a few times and are looking to move into their own equipment. With a 72mm waist and a very mellow flex the Outland 72 is a ski that can skid and slide easily until you find your balance and then tilt onto edge and carve turns as well. By using 3D construction the Outland 72 gets more material over the edges for better grip and less in the middle for less weight which makes for easier turns and control. To really keep the Outland 72 light it has a composite core with aids in maneuverability and has a smooth predictable pop. Lastly, the Outland 72 is topped off with the Autodrive Fluid binding system giving you better leverage for more power to the edges and a more round flex underfoot to keep more edge in contact with the snow increasing stability and grip. Simple and to the point the Outland 72 is a great ski to help your abilities and interest in skiing grow together.
