Using a basic and quite forgiving Power Cap construction the E/Flex 4 is a smooth ski with easy stable turn initiation, perfectly geared for first time skiers or junior skiers transitioning out of junior equipment. Elan keeps things simple with the E/Flex 4 using a Comprex wood core. The tip to tail wood core makes the E/Flex 4 a solid feeling ski with a soft and easy flex playing up the forgiveness of the ski. To give the ski a touch of horsepower, Express technology adds a bit of torsional stiffness, so the E/Flex 4 has the ability to get up on edge and stay calm once you have learned to carve.
