The first ski in Elan's Waveflex series is the Waveflex 8. While the Waveflex 8 seems like a basic ski at first glance, a little deeper look reveals a ski laden with technology to give athletic beginner skiers through solid intermediate skiers the tools needed to become better with every trip to the slopes. Starting with Elan's Waveflex technology, the 8 is able to create a balance between tip to tail flex and torsional flex, side to side, that allows the Waveflex 8 to be forgiving but retain the backbone for strong edge hold. Knowing a ski that feels strong on edge helps build confidence the Waveflex 8 has full PST sidewalls to amplify the edge grip the Waveflex started to build. Inside a reliable and durable Dual Woodcore supplies the power and pop giving the Waveflex 8 a light and lively feel for precision and effortless turns. If you are tired of standing in rental lines but are worried about quickly out growing your first set of skis after a few days let the Waveflex 8 soothe all your worries while it takes you to new levels of your skiing ability.

Comments about Elan Waveflex 8 Skis with EL 10.0 QT Bindings 2012:
This is my first ever ski purchase and I must say I am very happy with it. Tom was very helpful in helping me choose this ski and honestly I think it fits the bill perfectly. I am already much more comfortable on this ski than any rental I have ever used. and you can tell the difference on your very first run. Great intermediate level ski with room to grow.
Service and delivery comments:
Deliver was fast and accurate. Only condition problem of the ski was a small scratch in the base nothing big and nothing my first base grind won't take out. Everything was packaged tightly and arrive promptly.
