Wait... Did you feel that? It is just another skier thundering by you on the K2 Aftershock. Don't get left behind. The Aftershock from K2 returns this season charged up and ready to go. 86mm underfoot and K2's All Terrain Rocker (rocker in the tip with camber underfoot) the Aftershock specializes in powder, broken snow, crud, and bumps. The tip rocker keeps the tips floating in the soft and fluffy stuff, absorbs the negative energy that is caused by moguls and crud, and helps the ski initiate turns quicker on the hard pack. Not just a soft snow ski the Aftershock has a 17m turn radius, and Hybritech Sidewalls (cap construction in the tip and tail, with vertical sidewalls along the majority of the ski) to make it one of the more groomer friendly 85mm+ waisted skis out there. An aspen/paulownia wood core with metal laminates give the Aftershock lots of rebound, and torsional rigidity for even the heaviest of skiers. MOD and MOD Monic vibration dampening systems keep the ride smooth in the firmest snow conditions. The Aftershock from K2 can be used for the expert skier that does not want something wider, or the athletic intermediate who wants to spend more time in the ungroomed terrain.

Hi I'm EJ. I'm with the Aftershock, I still have tremors after skiing this great ski. Rockered construction but this ski is playful. Holds an edge nicely, not your rocker tip GS ski if you are looking for really hard pack conditions but that's not what this key is designed for. It will float on powder, good on the bumps, very forgiving, relaxing, playful, agile is the word I apply for this 4 1/2 stars it will keep your ground shaking underneath. You will be a happy skier.

Hey everyone. It's Fidel, just got off K2's' all terrain rockered Aftershock in a 174. Loved it, you've got titinal in here, you've got mod-monic, really stable at high speeds. Really got stay on it at 86 underfoot, really not the quickest ski edge to edge but man if you really like to tear down and take those wide sweeping GS turns it is a great ski to have. Sidewall technology, very durable, great edge pressure. I'd recommend it for anybody who loves going as fast as they can and taking those wide sweeping GS turns.

How you doing, Jeff here with the K2 Aftershock. This ski you know what with the altering rocker and everything like that it skis for you, you don't have to do anything to it tip it up on edge with that little bit of lift in the tip and tail just turns for you. It's effortless to the guys who are going to go out and charge hard in the morning and maybe wants to relax later on in the afternoon and you know mess around with the kid or the wife this is going to be a great ski for them is going to be able to be extremely versatile I am going to give this a solid 3/5 stars

Hi I'm Steve and I just got off the K2 Aftershock. This is the 86 mm wide ski. It's one of the top-of-the-line of the K2 skis. It's got a sidewall cap on the tip which makes it easier for initiation. I give it a 3 1/2 out of five stars. I found this ski very heavy and a little slow to initiate the turns probably because I'm not heavy enough for the ski and a little slow. I think you have to be a strong skier and really a little bit heavier than I am to really get the most out of the ski. It's very rock solid and very stable but you really have to get on top of it and drive it for it to do what it wants to do so I recommend it for that skier that likes to ski hard, ski fast runs and wants a really stable ski with the 86 mm waist you can do it on hard pack or soft. Cruddy conditions out West or East would work fine for this ski as long as you can really give it all the power that it needs.

Hey Thom here with the K2 Aftershock. Comes back with a cosmetic upgrade but pretty much the same ski as last year. I gave it a 4/5. I gave it five out of five last year but I think there are a lot of things that have kind of caught up to it but slight rocker in the tip, sidewall under the foot. It's a ski you can step on, really get up onto edge in the carve of some turns. It's got great transition from short to long radius, it just lacks a little pop towards the finish of the turn but it's a very, very smooth. So for your little bit more laid back and advanced skier even a strong intermediate can get on this and get great all mountain performance.

Hi Trey with K2's AMP Aftershock. I'll give this ski 4/5 stars. I think it's a great ski for solid intermediate to the casual advanced skier skiing a lot of variable terrain. it's stable, easy not a lot of personality but for a lot of people that's a good thing. It's very, very trustworthy I guess would be a good word for it. You can definitely push if you want to it's not going to demand anything out of you four out of five.
