The A.M.P. Charger returns this season as K2's premier frontside carving ski. Hybritech Sidewalls (a cap construction in the tip and the tail of the ski with sidewalls on the majority of the ski) give powerful edge hold as you lay down some fast, medium to long radius turns down any groomer. K2's Speed Rocker is designed for firm snow and aids in the initiation of quick and precise turns, and easy transitions between fast and accurate carves. Chatter is non-existent with the combination of the MOD, MOD Monic dampening systems, and the Aspen/Paulownia wood core with metal laminates. The torsional rigidity is unmatched in the K2 line. The Marker/K2 MX binding system only increases precision and control. Not the most powder friendly ski the 74mm underfoot is fast and stable edge to edge. The Charger from K2 remains a powerful carving ski for the expert skier.

I just finished my 23rd time out on these and they rock. These carve turns very quickly and even more when I changed the edge bevel to 87deg. With sharp edges even glare ice is no problem. I swapped ski's with a friend and we both thought the Chargers were way better. The only bad thing I can say is the are a bit heavy like most with metal in the build. This is my first pair of K2s and I would buy this brand again.

Hey I'm Steve. I just got off the K2 Charger. I give this a 4 1/2 out of five stars. This ski was a lot of fun. It's only 74 mm at the waist so it's really more of a carving ski so if you are in hard pack conditions like East or Midwest this is a really fun ski. It grabbed the ice like there was no Tomorrow, made quick short snappy turns and also could lay them out to make big open wide turns. Really quick from edge to edge, transition was wonderful, really a lot of fun just did anything I wanted to do on hard pack conditions.

Hey everyone It's Fidel. Just got off of K2's Charger as you can see It's in a 167, a little small for me, I would prefer this bigger maybe a 177, maybe a 181 even. But besides that I really enjoy the ski. Really quick edge to edge, it's about 74 under foot so it's really quick, really responsive, really wants to turn. I recommend it for anybody who just loves those long groomers. You got to stay on top of it, they will get it away from you, can't really steer from the backseat either. So overall I give it 4/5 or recommend it for anybody who likes maybe even beer league for quick short radius turns, It's a keeper.

This is Hans. I just came off the K2 Charger. the Charger is a sidewall construction. K2 now put a rocker on all their skis, they call this speed rocker, just slightly rocker on the front of the tip of the ski will initiate the turn a little bit easier. This is a ski that is good for the upper intermediate to advanced skier if you are an expert skier you ski aggressive, it is a little bit chattery on the high speeds. I gave it a 3/5.

K2 Charger For this year is really really fun ski. It's going to be quick side to side. Is going to be for a very good intermediate to advanced rider who is going to want to do some short turns and some long radius ones as well. It's going to hold good at high speeds, is going to want to chatter a little bit but with the stack sidewall it's still going to give you good edge hold and torsinal stability. I give this ski 3/5 stars.

Hey Thom here with the Charger from K2. Comes back un-changed from last year. Gets a 4 out of 5. Just a really solid front side carver, super easy on edge, holds really well. You can get pretty easily from your mid to long turn right in to short snappy slalom type turns with it. Only thing I didn't like about it is it does lack a little bit of that pop and that liveliness towards the finish of the turn. Really smooth, definitely built for that more aggressive front side skier, maybe racing a little bit but just looking to tear it up front side. Carve all day long.

Hi this is Trey with K2's Charger. I give this ski five out of five stars. This ski absolutely rips. Incredibly stable, I think it's going to be great for the beer league racer or the expert skier who is strictly skiing the front of the mountain, very steep groomed stuff. It's unbelievable great edge hold, nice stable tail you can get a lot of energy out of it without it whipping you around at the end. Lots of fun! You can ski it all day, five out of five.

Hi I'm Terry. I just got off the K2 Charger in a 176. A little short for me, I prefer a little bit longer ski. Loves to cruise, this is a great ski for those nice long blues and harder green cruisers. This loves to go fast, very stable at high speeds. Overall I gave it 4/5.
