The K2 Force is a mellow and forgiving ski for the true beginner, or the tween who is ready for their first adult system ski, who wants to be a force on the mountain someday. K2's Catch Free Rocker is slight tip and tail rocker with camber underfoot. The rocker in the tip will help you initiate a turn quicker, and absorb negative energy and vibrations that happens when crud and chop accumulates on busy groomers. Tail rocker will help you exit a turn with ease, helping you progress from a skidded turn to a carved turn. A composite core, Glass Web, and Polyurethane Cap make the Force nice a forgiving, to favor a skier that is lighter weight, or not very aggressive. The Torsion Box construction, and MOD Monic dampening system gives the Force some torsional rigidity, and stability when the time comes for you to put the ski on edge, and lay down some short to medium radius turns. The new M3 binding plate is lower, wider, and lighter than in the past to add more control, and a more efficient energy transfer from the binding to the ski. The new K2 Force is a great ski for someone who is a true beginner or the tween who is ready for their first system ski.
