The Stinger from K2 is a true beginner ski. The Catch Free Rocker is slight tip and tail rocker with camber under foot. The rocker in the Tip will help you engage the edge of your ski faster and easier, while the rocker in the tail will release you out of a turn earlier with out feeling grabby. This blend of rocker and camber will help you start to get your skis on edge to carve a turn rather than skid them. The Marker/K2 M2 binding system is now 20% lighter, keeping your legs as fresh and you out on the hill longer. The Glass Web adds strength, and torsional rigidity, without adding extra weight, or making the ski to overbearing. The Stinger will be a great ski for the true beginner or a tween who is not to experienced, and is ready for their first adult system ski.
