Rossignol Avenger 82 Ti Skis with Axial2 TPX 120 Bindings 2012 |
The Avenger series delivers the most versatile, high performance on-trail ski that Rossignol has to offer. With an 82mm waist width, deep side cut, Power Turn Camber and construction based directly off the Rossignol race skis the Rossignol Avenger 82 Ti is the highly regarded as the Professional Ski Instructors of America's favorite on-trail ski. A true All-Mountain ski, the Avenger 82 Ti utilizes Rossignol's All Mountain Tip Design to extend the side cut of the ski making it wider and more versatile in addition to making it easier to initiate turns. The Oversize Concept creates better edge grip and power, in turn making the ski feel more stable while ripping up the mountain. The classic sidewall construction creates direct edge pressure and ensure the best in performance, transmitting every ounce of energy through the ski and into the snow. Rossignol uses a wood core made from laminations of Ash and Poplar wood to make the Avenger 82 Ti more lively, responsive, and durable than Composite Core skis. The Avenger 82 Ti also uses Titanal in the core to add longitudinal and torsional rigidity. Therefore the 82 Ti is stiffer than the Basalt version, making it easier for skiers to hold a solid edge and rip aggressive carved turns. The Rossignol Avenger 82 Ti is a fun ski in conditions ranging from icy hardpack to knee deep heavy pow making it truly a one-ski-quiver for the expert skier.

Hey this is Bob, just off the Rossignol 82 titanium. I give this be a 4/5 stars. It's very fast, basically you could use this in any beer league racing GS ski. Likes basically long to longer turns with the 17m turn radius. It's got a full sidewall which makes them have great edge hold. You have the VAS in the tip and tail which is going to reduce all the chatter when you're going at a higher speed. Great ski!

Trey here with the Rossignol Avenger 82 TI. I would give this ski about 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. It's a front of the mountain ski, ripping on groomers. Very quick edge to edge for 82 underfoot. It's got tremendous amounts of energy. You push on and you're definitely going to get pushed back. Holds great turns, very quick for, again, a ski this width and then you can make big long medium radius turns all over. Excellent hold on the hard pack like we have out here today. 4 1/2 out of 5.

Hey Thom here with the Rossignol Avenger 82 TI. I give this 4/5 stars. Full sidewall construction, titanol laminate so it's super damp. There is no doubt about this ski that when you're on edge it's going to hold for you. A really, really stable powerful ski. Definitely skis best for somebody who is going to be skiing at higher speeds, definitely getting this ski on the edge. That league racer or ex-racer that's looking for something a little bit more forgiving for all day performance. Or for the guy who is just looking to ski fast and hard on the on the side, they're going to find a lot of stability and a lot of predictability here.

Hi this is Luke. I just finished skiing the Rossignol Avenger 82 TI. I give this ski a 4/5 stars. Pretty fun ski if you're an intermediate to advanced level skier looking for a slightly wider ski. It's about 82 mm underfoot, maybe not that wide, but a wider board that still makes the wide turns. There's a layer of metal in it, lots of energy and edge grip. I found that this ski really like to make a longer-turn. A 16 m turn radius, you can really, really lay out and get some speed but with the underfoot It's going to be a great all mountain width for someone who wants that one go everywhere and do anything ski. Check out the Rossignol Avenger 82 TI.

Hey this is Kyle here. I just got off the Rossignol 82 TI. This ski was a fun little ski. It carved real good and holds an edge real good too with the layered titanal, actually you know handles up to a little bit more higher-speed. So if that's the kind of skier you are this ski is great for you. I give this ski a good 4/5.

Hi my name is Jesse. I just tested the Rossignol Avenger 82 TI. It was an intermediate to advanced ski. It's a great ski, it has a lot of edge, a lot of pop. If you love to take that short little turn but it also has a good edge for carve it's a really great ski. I enjoyed it a lot, I would give it five out of five actually. It's a really great ski.

How you doing, this is Jeff with this years Rossignol 82 TI. This is a really fun ski, we got some nice corduroy conditions so it's really smooth. This thing is a ripper, all you have to do is let it get a little bit wide-open. It's not going to like real short snappy turns, more like a slalom ski; give it a nice wide open GS turn. Anywhere from intermediate to advanced skier if you want to take it easy at the end of the day or if you want to rip it hard in the morning this is going to be a great ski for you. I give this a solid 4/5 stars.

Hey I'm Hans, I just came off the Rossignol Avenger 82 TI. This TI ski is definitely designed for your advanced skier and expert skiers. Isn't going to ski too hard, it's great too with 82 underneath the foot you can pretty much ski in all snow conditions. Again, on the high speed it's a little bit squirrelly when you put on the edge but otherwise a great all Mountain ski. I give it a 4/5.

Hi I'm EJ. I'm with the Rossignol Avenger 82 TI. I skied it in a 170 length. This is the best Rossignol ski I've demoed! It's responsive on edge, blasts through the crud and is a dynamic responsive ski. It holds with confidence across the fall line and will bash through crud with great deliberation. It's patriotic paint job should raise some stars! Go test this ski!

Great ski to ride all over the mountain. The wood core makes it feel really responsive and the layers of titanal and fiberglass laminates let you put a lot of power into your turns. Having a deep side cut lets you make big arching turns like a racer. When your linking turns the power turn camber makes carving so easy and smooth. Having a 126mm tip you can even ride deep snow and really shred everything. This ski is for someone who is riding really hard and fast all day on groomers and on the rest of the mountain.
