The Strato 70 is best described as Slalom ski on steroids. The Strato uses Race Construction Technologies on an Oversized platform to create skis that are rock solid under the foot and maximize edge grip and power. The 70mm waist is surprisingly quick edge to edge, making this ski fast, responsive, and down right fun on the hardpack. The wider footprint is more versatile, performing better in softer snow than a traditional race ski. Like a race ski the Strato prides itself on having superior edge grip courtesy of Rosi's Independent Pressuring System power transmission is optimally transferred to the edge of the ski for performance and power. Two sheets of Titanal surround the Ash and Poplar Wood Core, making the Strato stiff enough to put every ounce of energy into it each turn with out over skiing this speed machine. Doing their part to halt global warming Rossignol uses wood from renewable tree farms for their cores. The construction principles that are packed into the Strato make it a great choice for expert skiers who want a fall line ripper that is still versatile enough to have fun with out a start wand, spandex and a fluid injected slope.
