Then Kastle adds in two sheets of titanium alloy to the MX 88 increasing the edge hold to an unflinching level, speeding up the response to feel instantaneous, and providing damping that leaves the MX 88 more smooth that silk. To ensure that all this power and precision hooks up the MX 88 is given a fast grip shovel by extending the sidecut past the forward contact point for quicker initiation and response and Hollowtech in the tip to reduce weight while also increasing easy of turn initiation. Loaded with tons of race style technology and hard carving appeal you would think the MX 88 is limited to packed and groomed snow but with the dual piste turn radius the MX 88 is also at home off the beaten trail in crud, chop, and light powder because of the ability to quickly and predictably change turn shape.
