The Lib Tech Skate Banana BTX is the original all terrain all conditions quiver killing freestyle banana/magne-traction series snowboard. The Banana rocker makes the Skate Banana loose and catch-free, able to press boxes, rails and jibs with the greatest of ease, and no-trouble turns when the rocker is pressed into the hardpack. The Skate Banana is slightly stiff at the tip and tail which increases pop and stability on big landings. The H-Pop core improves the pop and performance of the board and the power transfer internal sidewalls add to the pop as well. The Skate Banana also has too many awards to list. A great board all around.

The Skate Banana is an great snowboard. I use it for my park runs and messing around on the groomers. The Magnetraction totally dominates the ice or crud. I detuned my edges for the rails and it still has excellent edge hold on the groomers. This doubles as my pow board too because of the rocker. Stays floaty reducing the leg burn.
The only downside is the pop. I would like it to have more pop.

It's Lane and I just got done riding the Libtech Skate Banana. 5/5 stars, awesome board for somebody that just wants to ride park and only park. Great on rails, soft, has the Magnetraction so it has good edge hold at all speeds but when you start doing a little higher speeds it starts to chatter a little bit. Not so great on the jumps, washes out a bit but meant for the rails.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Hey this is Ian, I just got done riding the Libetech Skatebanana in a 159. With the Skatebanana it has whats known as BTX where it is full on banana traction where It's full on rockered and also it adds Magnetraction. Magnetraction basically adds 3 to 5 contact point on your edge so basically it allows you to hold a great edge hold while maintaining a higher base speed. Definitely meant for an intermediate to an advanced based rider and just an all around great solid board.

Hi I'm David and this here flaming pile of hotness is the 2012 Libtech Skate Banana with the bright orange Union Force bindings. Skate banana, I give four stars out of five. Full rocker, the magnetraction which helps carve on the ice and we get that a lot here in Michigan. It's pretty nice for that the rocker gives a playful feel so it's comfortable in the park but also handles pretty well all mountain. I would recommend it could be useful for just about any snowboarder whether you want an all mountain deck that's got a little bit of playful feel to it, you can take it everywhere.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
