Hey this is Ben. I just got done riding the Salomon Drift Rocker. It's a great beginner to intermediate board. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. It's really there to help you progress your park riding. It's got a mellow rocker which helps you through crud, does pretty stable at speeds and all around good board. 4 out of 5.

Comments about Salomon Drift Rocker Wide Snowboard 2012:

What's up? Leo here, got off the 2012 Salomon Drift Rocker in a 154. I'm giving this board a 2 out of 5 star rating. What I didn't like about this board is It's really soft so when you're trying to initiate those carves it's kinda squirrely. To be fair, I'm an all mountain freestyle rider and I think this board was designed for the person who likes to jib a lot in the park. The softness is definitely gonna help out, flex-wise it's about 3.5 10. So, like I said, probably good on rails but for that all mountain freestyle rider like me it's not my cup of tea. These also have this unique they call it "the equalizer." It's three straight lines kinda curves in and goes flat in the middle. It's supposed to give you good edge hold on hardpack and ice. I didn't really notice that too much, I'm not sure if that's the reason why It's squirrely on turns but overall like I said if you are a jib-kid then I highly recommend this board. Once again it's gonna really help you out in the park. Beginning to intermediate park rider is what I recommend this board for.
